Dreamstealer
By: Patricia Drain
DREAM STEALERS.........
BEWARE!! THEY ARE EVERYWHERE
Years ago I met someone who was my first KNOWN dream stealer. I had just written my first book and was very protective of it. I named it HIRE ME SECRETS OF JOB INTERVIEWING. I didn't know if it was well written or would be successful, but that really didn't matter to me at the time. The sole purpose was to help people get job offers.
I owned a Recruiting/Staffing firm in Phoenix, Arizona. Every day it was my job to prepare our candidates to interview with our client companies for new career opportunities. The book had all the ingredients necessary to show how to get in the game of interviewing, answer questions that most of our clients asked, get the job offer, and make a decision.
I didn't market the book or even tell anyone about it. Why??
Because I was so afraid that someone, especially someone in the same business I was in, would see it and make fun of me for writing it.
Be careful what you focus on.
A couple of months after writing the book the dream stealer entered my office.. She picked up my book and said very sarcastically "You have got to be kidding ...YOU wrote a book?"
Embarrassed I said "yes, all I am trying to do is help our clients get a job and to also be aware that interviewing is a game so they shouldn't take it personally"
In response she said "I am also writing a book about interviewing. At the present time it is all in my head. It's ok though because I have a mind like a computer. All the chapters are compartmentalized; I even have a clear picture of my cover. I must say however MY book is MUCH thicker than yours and much "meatier" In fact I noticed that your chapter on resumes is just a few pages, mine has over 100 pages so far."
I don't know what came over me but I saw her for what she was in that instant. A DREAM STEALER, AN INTIMIDATOR, A BULLY.
I said "You know the difference between your goal and mine??? She said "no what?"
"Your goal is still in your head.....I wrote mine down in the form of a book"
Sweet revenge.............Is her book done to date........NO! Did my book get picked up by a major publisher because it was simple, easy to read, and could help thousands of people get a job?" YES!
I tell you this story because I was reminded just weeks ago about all the dream stealers that have come into my life over the years. It was on this trip down memory lane that I realized
Dream stealers are everywhere!!! We must be aware and prepared to run……… not walk away from them. I knew I had to share with others that dream stealers come in all varieties. Teachers, friends, associates, even family members. They might even tell you very good reasons why you should listen to them because it is "for your own good"
My last dream stealer was the force behind this story. Actually my last dream stealer I actually PAID. That's right I paid him $1000 to TRY to steal one of my dreams.
It happened in Las Vegas…….
My partner Debbie and I signed up for his seminar, paid our money, got on a plane, checked into a hotel, took a cab to his event and proceeded to have a dream stealer tell us what we can't, shouldn't and couldn't do.
When we decided to walk out on his training session after identifying him as a dream stealer we asked for our money back. (something neither of us have ever done in our lives) We were very uncomfortable with the situation but we promised each other that as soon as we got the money we would both buy items that would remind us of future dream stealers.
Debbie bought a small but perfect diamond that would remind her not to let ANYONE take the "twinkle" out of her dreams. My reminder was the famous BOSE ear phones that would remind me NEVER listen to ANYONE who tries to steal your dreams through intimidation or wrong information.
If either of these stories ring a bell for you or reminds you of any of the dream stealers that have been in your life so far, or are about to appear, get a reminder that works for you. A reminder that will help you become aware everyday
Then
GO FOR YOUR DREAMS

Outer World Is Partial Reflection Of Inner World
Outer World Is Partial Reflection Of Inner World
By: Enoch Tan
We may think that everything we are experiencing in our external reality is a reflection of our inner consciousness, therefore when we see negative events that we feel we aren't presently creating, we become confused and frustrated. We start doubting the law of attraction and our reality creation powers. The truth is that although the outer world is a reflection of the inner world, it is only a partial reflection. What we see in the visible world is not all there is.
Like the tip of an iceberg, there is a whole portion that remains submerged under the surface of the water. The outer world is the exposed portion while the inner world is the hidden portion. When we create reality by setting an intention, there is an entire process of events that appears in the inner world. Each event is connected to another until finally the full manifestation of the intention is realized. What we see in the outer world is only part of the process as it unfolds over time.
When we see bad things happening, we wonder why it is so when we know we did not consciously intend them to happen. When we set an intention to create wealth, we may encounter loss. When we set an intention to have a better relationship with someone, we encounter obstacles or conflict to make it worse. Actually what we are facing is only temporary. Those very events that appear as bad are really not bad at all. They are just part of the process of things turning into our greatest good.
The reason why you encounter loss at the moment might be because it is a learning lesson to knowing what causes it so that you will be prepared for the keeping of great wealth that is to come when you are ready for it. The reason why you encounter obstacles or conflict in relating with another person might because when you get closer to someone, you inevitably touch their weak spots and set of certain emotional triggers. Those are opportunities to learn how to relate with that person in all circumstances.
Whatever we are experiencing in the visible world is only part of the picture. In the larger scheme of things, the reality we desire is already fully laid out in the invisible world. Our intention has already created an entire plan for its manifestation. We should never doubt that for one moment. Everything that happens along the way is just part of that plan. As long as we stay in vibrational harmony, we will move along the path but when we become negative, we move out of the plan.
That is why detachment is so important. When we are detached to the outcome, we are able to stay on the path without wandering away. We can continue acting according to our heart's desires and doing what we believe in. Attachment to the outcome creates fear, doubt and worry. That is when we start veering of the course with negative thoughts, emotions and actions. We take detours and waste time before getting back on track. When we are detached, our intentions manifest a lot faster.
There are many possibilities and pathways that our intentions can take to manifest. Possibilities and pathways can keep combining to create new possibilities and pathways. What we see in the visible world are only the possibilities and pathways that currently exist. If we only look at what appears to be in the present, many things will seem impossible. But the future where those possibilities and pathways exist are already contained in the invisible realm. It is only a matter of time before they appear.
Do not look to the outer world as true reality. When you base your reality on what you see, you will think that your desires are not manifesting. True reality is spirit and spirit contains everything you ever wanted and will ever want. Spirit is the highest plane of the invisible realm. All your true desires are actually spirit seeking to manifest. Looking to the outer world causes fear which is the emotion of false evidence appearing real. Look to spirit and you will have faith which is the evidence of things not seen.
We have to realize that the manifestation of our intentions is a package deal. There are many parts that come with it and we cannot just accept certain parts and not the rest. If we want to manifest our desire fully, we have to accept every part that is integral to its total experience. We have to accept the good as well as the bad. In fact, even what we might consider as bad is also good because it is all good when we see how it all fits together to form the most beautiful and perfect picture of our creation.
What we see in the outer world is only how things are happening in time. When we look from a perspective outside of time, we realize that there is so much more that has yet to fall into place. Whatever that can be seen in the outer world is subject to change. Time changes everything, yet change itself is also an illusion because nothing changes when seeing the whole thing outside time. By knowing that the full reflection of the inner world happens over time, we can detach and surrender to the process.

Caring for handmade gold and silver rings
Caring for handmade gold and silver rings
By: Groshan Fabiola
One of the worse things that can happen is seeing beloved handmade rings become permanently damaged when it was totally preventable. Silver and gold rings should be cared for with the same care that they were produced with, so they can last a lifetime. To avoid having to explain to mother why the handmade gold ring that has been passed down for generations is ruined, there are simple steps that should be followed.
The first steps to caring for silver rings and gold rings is to protect them from begin scratched, dented, chemically damaged or warped from extreme hot and cold. People should store their handmade rings separately and remove them when doing things like gardening and cleaning. A handmade gold ring should also not be worn when swimming, hot-tubbing or bathing, especially when there is chlorine in the water. Silver rings and gold rings should also not be stored near heating vents, window sills or anywhere extreme heat and sun will catch them.
The best place to store a handmade gold ring or silver ring is in a re-sealable plastic bag or jewelry bags with a silica-gel sachet, as this will prevent tarnishing. Owners should also try to wipe down their handmade rings after wearing them to remove dirt and skin oils. Gold and silver rings can also be washed in warm soapy water providing they are dried carefully before storage. Then they should be rinsed carefully and patted dry with a soft non-abrasive cloth.
Handmade rings of silver and gold should generally be cared for very gently and carefully. Commercial silver and gold cleaners should only be used if any stones in the jewelry can withstand the chemicals in the cleaner. Some handmade rings with gemstones that can’t be placed in commercial cleaners include those with pearls, lapis lazuli, malachite, opals, coral and turquoise.
A handmade gold ring or silver ring can also be cleaned using a solution made of ammonia and water. Owners should use a light solution of ammonia and water on a toothbrush or soft cloth and then rinse thoroughly with water. The same can be said about using this solution on handmade rings with gemstones; it should be used with caution. Tarnish can be prevented by storing gold and silver rings in re-sealable plastic bags together with a sachet of silica gel. This will absorb any moisture on a handmade gold ring or silver ring. Handmade rings containing pearls and opals, however, should not be stored in plastic bags.
With a little care and preventative maintenance, hand made rings of silver and gold should be able to last for generations. Even silver rings that aren’t worth a lot of money often have sentimental value in the family, and they should be treated accordingly. The same can be said about a handmade gold ring that has been passed down for generations; it should be cared for so many more generations can enjoy it.

The latest jewelry trends
The latest jewelry trends
By: Groshan Fabiola
The world of necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants and pins is just like high fashion; it’s always changing. While ring diamonds, gold jewelry, silver jewelry, pearl jewelry and gemstone jewelry will always be popular, the ways in which these materials are used is constantly changing. Here are some of the latest trends in the most common jewelry materials.
Ring diamonds are the most common formation for these precious stones. Some of the latest trends in ring diamonds might be star and astral shapes, or using with more naturally inspired designs. Retailers are also seeing a higher demand for softer and more fluidly shaped ring diamonds, which lend themselves to smaller stones. Different textures and finishes are also being used for ring diamonds, and they are being paired with more gold and silver jewelry. One of the most popular settings for ring diamonds is the flush setting, which consumers can expect to see more if.
Gold jewelry buyers can expect to see more naturally inspired designs, as well, especially in 14k and 18k jewelry. There should be more gold jewelry earrings that contain dangling balls, fringes and strands. Colored gems and different textures or enamels should also be appearing more often in gold jewelry. Multiple strand gold jewelry should become especially prominent.
In the world of silver jewelry, neo-Victorian Western and Native American themes are all having comebacks. Scatter pins, cufflinks and belt buckles are increasingly popular forms of silver jewelry. Different finishes are being used on silver jewelry as well, such as textured and matte. The combination of pearls with silver jewelry is also more common, but silver really lends itself to many different materials and stones.
Pearl jewelry is having a big comeback of its own, especially Chinese freshwater, South Sea, blister and baroque pearls. Chinese freshwater pearl jewelry is being used in twisted designs more often, and South Sea pearl jewelry is being seen combined with gold. The South Sea pearls are often used as a focal point in gold jewelry. Blister pearl jewelry is usually in the form if pendants and pins these days, whereas baroque pearls are being seen in the longer strands because they are more affordable.
The latest trend in gemstone jewelry is cabochons, which are even being cut in unusual shapes such as tongue, sugarloaf, bullet, double cab and various outline shapes. Gemstone jewelry is also being paired with pink gold these days, and new combinations of colored gems are also more common. Some of the newest gemstone jewelry designs are taking inspiration from 1960s designs, especially peridot gems.

The new market for palladium jewelry
The new market for palladium jewelry
By: Groshan Fabiola
One of the latest trends in fine metal jewelry is palladium jewelry, which is both beautiful and affordable. Palladium jewelry is in the same family as platinum, and also looks similar to white gold, but it has many benefits those metals can’t provide. A palladium ring is hypoallergenic, unlike white gold rings, for example. A palladium ring also has benefits over a platinum one, mainly the cost. Palladium jewelry is all around a great advantage to those who are both style and budget conscious.
Palladium jewelry has only begun being used in large quantities recently, because the material has been difficult to cast and fit. The creation of a 950-Palladium made the material much easier to use, however, so jewelry lovers should start to see more palladium jewelry in the future. Since platinum and white gold rings have become the most popular choices for wedding jewelry, it is expected that palladium wedding rings should become more and more popular in the future. This is because a palladium ring has the same characteristics as platinum and white gold rings, such as purity, luster and light color.
One of the other benefits of palladium jewelry is its lightness in comparison to platinum; in fact, it’s 40 percent lighter. Palladium wedding rings with large stone settings still won’t feel too heavy on the hand for this reason. Palladium jewelry also has a much lighter price than platinum. People often turn to sterling and white gold rings because they are cheaper than platinum but still similar in appearance, and palladium should start to take a larger role in this market. White gold rings, however, are manufactured using alloys containing nickel, and up to 10 percent of the population is allergic to nickel. A palladium ring, on the other hand, is hypoallergenic.
Palladium wedding rings are also more beneficial than white gold rings, because they are harder, more durable and less likely to tarnish. Jewelers like to use a harder metal in a ring setting to combat this, but with a palladium ring the entire jewelry piece can be made with the same metal. The consistent look and fell of palladium wedding rings results in a more beautiful and long lasting product when compared to white gold.
Refiners are working to provide 950-Palladium jewelry to manufacturers and designers, and retailers are getting the word out about the product. Palladium jewelry should find a larger market once the word gets out about its lower price and platinum characteristics. The demand for palladium jewelry will decide how quickly it is integrated into designer’s product lines and catalogs. Palladium wedding rings and other jewelry will likely be used in the same categories as platinum and white gold.
The only significant difference with palladium jewelry is that it’s cheaper than platinum, and more durable and hypoallergenic that white gold rings. There’s no good reason why palladium shouldn’t continue to grow in popularity and availability in the future.
